Work with Tracey Becker. She’s not a “professional reader,” she’s an active Hollywood Producer who loves helping writers take their work to the next level.

Tracey can help you get to the heart of the story you are trying to tell.

Tracey produced, Miramax’s “Finding Neverland” starring Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Dustin Hoffman, and directed by Marc Forster. “Finding Neverland” was nominated for seven Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Her latest film is "Hysteria," starring Hugh Dancy, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jonathan Pryce, and Rupert Everett. This story about the invention of the vibrator will be released by Sony Pictures Classics in the summer of 2012.

Tracey has worked with many of today’s freshest writers, including David Magee, Christopher Durang, William Boyd, Allan Knee, Murray Schisgal, Mitchell P. Ganem, Terri Edda Miller, Stephen & Jonah Lisa Dyer, Brian Edgar, and she'd love to work with you.

Working with Tracey was an integral part of optioning my script “A Picture Of Us”. Tracey has the ability to get into the writers mind, connect with you on the same wave length and offer you thoughtful notes in the writers language. Above all else, Tracey not only cares about your project, but she knows exactly what questions to ask to help you to look at your own work through someone else’s eyes: the audience‘s. As a working producer, Tracey not only tells you what producers will be looking for in your material but also offers valuable insider information on the best way to market your screenplay to the industry. Following Tracey’s advice, I tried the European market and the first producer who read my screenplay ended up optioning it. Since working through numerous drafts with Tracey, I can feel my writing ability progressing in leaps in bounds. If you’re serious about getting your script in the best shape it can be and fulfilling your full writing potential I highly recommend you get Tracey Becker in your corner.

"A Picture of Us"

Tracey Becker brings a keen eye for detail and story to the too often nebulous world of script development. Her guidance is pointed and direct, always coming from the place of what serves the story best. Just as importantly, she looks beyond the page, to the place we are all striving for: The movie screen. We are now at the point in our professional relationship where she sees my scripts before anyone else.

"Elvis Has Left The Building"

I've worked with Tracey on various scripts over the past four years, and find her insights and taste impeccable. She has helped me raise my work to a higher level, and opened doors in my professional career. A true friend of the writer!
